A little R & R is a good thing. And Baseball has always been the great American pass time. Let us not forget about some great board games. Operation seems to be a favorite of the Doc’s here. We smile and some of us sing, even in the operating room! We enjoy our food. The cooks work hard in a hot kitchen providing an occasional hot meal when the rations are available.

One thing that I have noticed is that the people of Iraq that I have meet love to have their pictures taken. When I walk through a ward with my camera, even if I don’t intend to take pictures, they stop me and ask for their picture to be taken. The woman on this page was with her baby girl. Thank God that we have the best Doc’s in the world here. This team of professionals includes the 207th Neuro team, great guys in and out of the operating room. Our patients come to us in all different ways, Field Line Ambulance, Helicopter, and many other forms of transportation in between. All in a days work of a Combat Medic.
