It is great to watch people’s emotions when they look at photographs. It doesn’t matter if it is pictures from home or pictures we take here of ourselves, we all enjoy sharing photographs. I had the great honor of re-enlisting my first soldier since becoming a commissioned officer here in the desert. It was a soldier that I had the honor of having in my platoon back home. Glad they decided to Stay Army. Along with re-enlistments comes promotion. I can’t think of a more fitting place to be promoted then on a deployment overseas. We have had several people promoted since coming to Iraq. So, if it is your first promotion or your fifth, congratulations to you! You can be proud of every soldier here!
